Напомним, неделю назад Польский Олимпийский комитет приостановил деятельность Федерации футбола в связи с обвинениями в коррупции. Такое решение было принято после многочисленных жалоб на высший футбольный орган страны.
"Польское правительство должно понять, что они играются с Евро-2012. Мы просто не можем доверить им проводить турнир при таких обстоятельствах. Если они не решат проблемы в уложенный срок, то будут наказаны", - сказал представитель УЕФА.
ФИФА, чьи правила запрещают вмешательство правительства в футбольные дела, говорит, что Польша может быть отстранена от квалификационных матчей ЧМ-2010. "Мы поставили им срок, до которого все должно быть решено".
